The president of Nepal-China Mutual Co-operation Society’s Mr. Prem Sagar Poudel has sent thanks giving letter to The Right Honorable President of People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping for the invitation, to help and support for all round development and promises to stand with us for our national integrity, security and sovereignty against any power of the world. The full part of the letter is as follow:
First of all, on June 20, Chinese President Xi Jinping took the role of guardian according to the Nepal-China Betrawati Treaty in 1792, met with Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who was on a visit to China at the Great Hall of the People , as a result establishment of diplomatic relationship, China and Nepal are a good neighbor, and the two countries have been helping mutual support based on five principles of peaceful existence, China will always support Nepal to choose the social system and development path that is favorable to its situation with independence, integrity, and sovereignty of Nepal, He mentioned the hope for the development of Nepal in behaviour soon, there is new development opportunity we have in relation to China-Nepal relations, adding that the two sides should continue to focus on the mutual interest in five principles of peace and co-existence, continuously increasing the frequently travels and strategic exchange between the high level, to strengthen the political base of China-Nepal relations, and increasing political exchange there should strengthen the public base between the two countries and On the basis of Belt and Road Initiative with Nepal, the desire to provide all-round mutual support by increasing infrastructure, interaction, re-construction after natural calamities, economic and trade investment etc., We heartily thanks to the Right honorable Chinese President to focus joint strike on international crime by enhancing humanitarian and cultural governance capabilities for the protection of Nepal-China common security matter.
The Prime Minister and the President of ruling party Nepal Communist Party (NCP) KP Sharma Oli in the 6-day formal visit of China, had met the President Xi Jinping, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, and Foreign Secretary and other senior politicians according to the preliminary schedule, done agreement and understanding related task, the Prime Minister has informed the Parliament about the visit after returning.
Even Nepal has repeatedly enforced its commitment to implementing policies of “One China Policy” and not implemented in the behaviors, the high respect and assessment of Nepal and Nepalese people, will be prepared detailed study report (DPR) of railway connectivity in Nepal, road, international power transmission line, commitment to help in reconstruction of earthquake, inter-border economic development. Rasuwagadhi – Syafrubesi Street expansion and improvement, Tatopani checkpoint re-start, Maitripul construction, fuel storage, economic technical cooperation, increase production capacity, subject to making simulation mechanism to increase the cargo traffic and intensification of agreements and in developing joint interest in the United Nations and other multilateral platforms, the objective of enhancing the cooperation between developed, developing and landlocked countries is included in 14 points, we extend our deep respect to the Right Honorable President to take the role of responsible guardian.
In the end, we believed Chinese government has been keen to play an important role in favor of the security and respect to Nepalese citizen, who favored “One China Policy” in Nepal.
