大家下午好！我是尼泊尔中国友好促进会主席浦语海，非常高兴接受遂宁市人民政府的热情邀请，代表国际友好组织和友好城市为大会祝贺。

Good afternoon ! I am Prem Sagar Poudel, president of Nepal-China Mutual Co-operation Society. I am very pleased to accept the warm invitation from the Suining Municipal People’s Government to send this congratulations words here on behalf of Suining related international friendly organizations and sister cities.

尼中友好源远流长。尼泊尔和中国之间的关系有5000多年的历史。晋代高僧法显、唐代高僧玄奘到过佛祖释迦牟尼诞生地兰毗尼。元朝时，尼泊尔著名工艺家阿尼哥曾来华监造北京白塔寺。特别是近年来，尼方在涉藏、涉台等问题上一贯予以中方坚定支持，两国在国际和地区事务中保持良好的沟通与合作。

The Friendship between Nepal and China has a long and lasting history. The relationship between Nepal and China has a history of over 5000 years. Master Faxian from Jin Dynasty and Master Xuanzang from Tang Dynasty had been to Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha Shakyamuni. During the Yuan Dynasty, Araniko, a famous Nepalese architecture came to China to supervise the construction of the White Pagoda Temple in Beijing. In recent years, Nepal has firmly stood together with China for the issues of Tibet and Taiwan, and the two countries maintain good communication and cooperation for the international and regional affairs.

遂宁情谊弥足珍贵。近年来，遂宁市紧紧围绕“一带一路”战略，深化南向开放合作，加快打造改革开放新高地，取得了明显成效。先后与尼泊尔毗麦悉瓦迩市、根杰市等建立了友好合作关系。今年3月，我和根杰市市长普拉山达·毗世塔一行，对遂宁开展了为期3天的访问，遂宁市与根杰市签署了国际友好关系意向书，掀开了两地合作发展的新篇章。

The friendship with Suining is precious. In recent years, Suining has closely focused on the “the Belt and Road” strategy, deepened opening up and cooperation to the south, and accelerated the building of a new highland of reform and opening up. Suining has successfully set up friendly relationships with some Nepal cities like Bhimeshwar and Nepalgunj .In March of this year, the Mayor of Nepalgunj City, Prashant Bishta and I paid a 3-day visit to Suining. Suining and Nepalgunj has signed an intent letter of friendly cooperation, opening a new chapter for the cooperation and friendship between the two cities.

各位领导，自2011年以来，我多次来到遂宁，遂宁绿色、干净、美丽，我特别喜欢临仙阁、观音湖、射洪两江画廊、金华山。我也见证了遂宁这座新兴城市的快速发展，我亲眼所见射洪的几家大型锂电企业，蓬勃发展，令人震憾。遂宁生产的不锈钢、LED、农用机械等产品，非常适用在尼泊尔销售，我将努力推荐。

Honorable guests, since 2011, I have visited Suining many times.In my impression, Suining is a green, clean and beautiful city. I like to visit especially Linxian Pavilion, Guanyin Lake, Shehong Liangjiang Gallery, and Jinhua Mountain over there. With my eyes I have seen the rapid progress of emerging Suining city and also witnessed flourishing development of several large lithium battery companies in Shehong. The stainless steel, LED, agricultural machinery and other products made in Suining can be very popular in Nepal market, and I will try my best to recommend them.

我们知道，能源电子产业是遂宁的主导产业，今天遂宁和电子科技大学共同承办第二十一届海科会能源电子论坛，正好是理论与实践的天合之作，是一个重要的科创融合发展的交流平台。在此，我代表尼中友好促进会，向大会的成功召开致以热烈的祝贺！诚挚邀请我们的中国朋友访问尼泊尔，观光旅游，投资兴业。

We know that the energy and electronics industries are the leading industries in Suining. Today, Suining and the University of Electronic Science and Technology jointly host the Energy & Electronics Forum of the 21st Western China Overseas High-tech and High Talents Conference, which is a perfect combination of theory and practice, an important exchange platform for the integration and development of science and innovation. Also On behalf of the Nepal-China Mutual Co-operation Society, I would like to extend warm congratulations to the successful convening of the conference ! I Sincerely invite our Chinese friends to visit Nepal for sightseeing, tourism, and investment.
